Agnieszka Mielcarz graduated from the Law Faculty of Wrocław University and gained her practical knowledge of the retail market working for such companies as Cefic Polska (1999-2002), Apsys Management (2002-2007), Avestus Real Estate (2007-2013) and Jones Lang LaSalle (2013-2014). In total, she managed nearly 200,000 sqm of gross leasable area (GLA), cooperating with almost 400 tenants and negotiating around 100 lease agreements. Prior to joining Knight Frank, she managed the Forum shopping centre in Gliwice, owned by the German DEKA fund, for over 7 years. Agnieszka’s work was appreciated by a range of organisations including the International Council of Shopping Centres and recognised with numerous awards including Solal Marketing Awards, PRCH Retail Awards and the International Property Award. Other shopping centres with which she was engaged during her career include Arkadia and Warszawa Wileńska, where Agnieszka was engaged in the preparation of operating budgets on behalf of Cefic. As well as the Forum centre in Gliwice, she also managed BOREK in Wrocław, PLATAN in Zabrze, STAWY in Katowice and Geant in Sosnowiec, and supported the management team of Galeria Podlaska in Białystok. In these aforementioned projects Agnieszka was responsible for the development and coordination of long-term lease strategies, negotiation of agreements, the development and management of the centres’ strategies and marketing and for the coordination of operations teams.
