He was born on June 26th 1963 in Racibórz. In the 1990 he graduated Law and Administration Department at University of Silesia in Katowice. The same year, he became Deputy Mayor of Racibórz City and held the position until 1994. In 1995 moved to Warsaw. From 1995 until 1996 was a Director of Investment Department in TEMIK-FINANCE Sp. z o.o. In the years 1997-1998 he held the position of Deputy Mayor of Wawer district in Capital City of Warsaw. In 1998 he was Mayor of Wesoła district in Capital City of Warsaw. He held this function held until 2002. In 2002-2004 he was Deputy Mayor of Targówek district in Capital City of Warsaw. In December 2004 he again became the Mayor of Wesoła district in Capital City of Warsaw (until 2006). From 2004 to 2006 he was a member of Polish Parliament. From 5 December 2006 he is holding a function of the Deputy Mayor of Capital City of Warsaw.
