The founder and President of the Supervisory Board of Work Service S.A, a leading company in the HR market in Central Europe, listed on the Stock Exchange. In the years 1999–2007, he was Vice-President of the Management Board at Work Service S.A. Owner and manager of Mizyak Investment Fund LTD, he also sits on the Supervisory Boards of the following companies: Exact Systems Sp. z o.o. and MM Conferences S.A., which is listed on the New Connect stock exchange. In the past, he was also a member of the Supervisory Boards of Hawe S.A., IDM S.A. and IT Kontrakt Sp. z o.o. He is President of the Świat Idei Foundation, publisher of the Polish edition of Project Syndicate. Since 2012, he has been Vice-President of Employers of Poland and since 2014 – a member of the Polish Business Roundtable. He has considerable experience as a social and political activist. Once an active member of student organizations, he went on to work in local government administration, namely the Wrocław City Council, where he chaired the Committee of Business Initiatives. In the years 2005–2011, as a Senator of the Republic of Poland, he was the Head of the Committee of Economy and participated in the works of the Commission of the European Union. A winner of many business awards, among others: the Teraz Polska emblem, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Entrepreneurial Leader, Market Leader, and Manager of the Year. A graduate of the Wrocław University of Economics,the Global CEO Program at IESE Business School and the Global Leadership Seminar, Georgetown University.
