Marek Obuchowicz is a real estate investment professional with a particular focus on the living sector. As Co-Managing Partner, he oversees the development and operations of PRS platforms under LifeSpot brand, as well as the PBSA platform, StudentSpace. Additionally, he co-supervises the operations of Murapol.
In 2019, Marek played a key role in the acquisition of Student Depot through a joint venture formed by Griffin in collaboration with Kajima Corporation. He has also actively participated in other key transactions for Griffin, as well as in numerous acquisitions of office and retail properties and refinancing efforts.
Currently, Marek’s responsibilities include, among others, setting up and overseeing management teams for the living platforms managed by Griffin, ensuring platforms’ growth by working closely with intra-group developers as well as through direct acquisitions from the market.
He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and the University of London.
