Renata Kinde-Czyż has been involved in the commercial real estate market for 17 years. She started working for the company in 1997 as a regional director and then as a shopping centre managing director. In 2005 she was appointed as a member of the Management Board. Since March 2012 she has held the position of the President of the Management Board of Metro Properties in Poland. The Company offers a full range of commercial property management services. In Poland, Metro Properties manages, among other things, 17 shopping parks and centres,9 M1 chain facilities, Ster Shopping Centre in Szczecin, Kometa Shopping Centre in Toruń, Tulipan Shopping Centre in Łódź, Centrum Ursynów Shopping Centre in Warsaw, as well as 4 shopping parks in Opole, Olsztyn, Tychy and Kielce. Renata Kinde-Czyż is a graduate of universities in Gdańsk and Oslo, Norway, in the field of humanities. She speaks fluent Norwegian and English, and also has a good knowledge of Danish and German. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a real estate management license. As a member of the Management Board of the Polish Council of Shopping Centres and, at the same time, as one of its founders, she plays an important role in shaping the Polish commercial real estate market. She actively promotes modern, international management standards in the area of sustainable development as well as standardisation of the shopping centre management processes. At her initiative, the portfolio of facilities being managed by METRO PROPERTIES in Poland underwent a BREEAM In-Use certification process, achieving record results on an international scale. 13 facilities received an excellent score in the area of Building Management and very good in the area of Asset Rating. The investment processes carried out under her strict supervision increased the value of the shopping centres being managed by EUR 60 million. A significant achievement which accelerated the company's development in Poland and extended its territorial range was the acquisition of external investors and investment funds to cooperate with the company, to which Metro Properties renders services in the area of real estate management. Renata Kinde-Czyż participates in numerous industry events, conferences and discussion panels, sharing her know-how, presenting and proposing business solutions thanks to her long-standing experience gained in the international environment. Her hobbies include skiing, swimming, as well as science-fiction literature. She is married and has two children.
