Heated debates in a group of the biggest players in the commercial property market, as well as highly esteemed experts from Poland and abroad; Hot Topics – presentations and speeches on the most important challenges for the sector and – for the first time – the Propertydesign.pl Forum on design and innovations in commercial as well as working, retail and leisure space – all this will happen as part of the 7th edition of the Property Forum 2017, which has been planned to take place on 25-26 September 2017 in Warsaw, at the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel.
Poland attracts big institutional investors, such as pension or insurance funds, which focus on the diversification of their portfolios. The good condition of the economy and the capitalisation rates in Poland – which are higher than those of Western Europe – favour our actions. Why then has Polish property not become an object of mass desire for investment funds from China and the Far East? What projects are funds looking for? How to create and present them? Have the recent events in politics jeopardised the PR of our sector in the West? These are the questions that all market players keep asking themselves today, and we will try to answer these very questions during the Property Forum 2017.
The next edition of the conference is an unusual opportunity to meet the biggest investors and developers, highly esteemed experts, representatives of banks and financial institutions, and lessees and local authorities, all of whom will speak about their co-operation with investors and their ideas for tapping into the potential of Polish cities.
We will closely examine each individual sector. The office invasion still continues, but in a new form and for new lessees. Where to build? How to entice lessees effectively? We will talk about the clash of Warsaw giants: Will Wola beat ‘Mordor’?
We will reveal the recipe for retail trade in a new form, and we will look for an answer to the question of whether a shopping centre is a good place for creative lessees.
How much longer will the boom in Polish warehouses last? Are developers getting ready for difficult times? How to prepare for the inevitable slowdown?
We will also examine whether hotels are the true bonanza today. Funds have gone hotel shopping: We will ask experts how long this boom is going to last and how we could take advantage of it.
However, property in the portfolio is just the beginning. It can only be a well-maintained commercial facility that is likely to age well and be immune to depreciation. Therefore, there will be no shortage of topics concerning the art of building the value of property and management.
The Property Forum 2017 is an exceptional edition because it will be the first time that the event is to be accompanied by the Propertydesign.pl Forum that focuses on design and innovations in commercial interiors, including working space in particular. This part of the meeting will provide an answer to the rapid changes taking place in the work environment, as well as to the most recent market requirements. New technologies has already been built into the backbone of commercial facilities. Quality, technologies and design: How to design shopping centres and hotels so that they become an investment in the future? What attracts and what deters customers and hotel guests today?
We will also invite the participants in the Property Forum to the Hot Topics, that is, speeches to be delivered by our special guests, who will present hot events in the market and speak about the challenges and opportunities.
