Prime Property Prize 2020

The PTWP SA Group – the publisher of the PropertyNews.pl and PropertyDesign.pl portals and the organiser of the 10th edition of the Property Forum 2020 conference – in co-operation with the editorial office of the portals – is organising the eighth edition of the Prime Property Prize 2020 popularity contest.

The task of the Prime Property Prize popularity contest is to select companies and projects that have had the greatest impact on events taking place in the commercial property market last year, as well as to select the personages whose spectacular actions have played a crucial role in the development of the entire industry.

WE GRANT AWARDS IN 14 CATEGORIES:

PropertyNews.pl Person of the Year – the award is granted to a personage from the commercial property industry who has had the greatest impact on events taking place in the sector or has made spectacular changes in their company, thus affecting the development of the entire market.

Property Developer of the Year – the award is granted for the achievements and activities of a company in the commercial property market to date, as well as for the company’s contribution to the development of the sector in Poland, the high quality of the projects they have implemented, and the company’s good reputation in the industry.

Tenant of the Year – the award is granted for setting new trends in the shopping centre tenants’ market, activity in the form of developing a chain of shops along with changes carried out in it, marketing activities, and the chain’s image in the industry.

Investor-Friendly City – the award is granted for activities aimed at improving the investment climate and creating conditions for increasing the activity of investors. The quality of services provided to entrepreneurs, as well as efficient implementation of administrative procedures, are also taken into account.

Investment of the Year: Commercial Space Market – the award is granted to new or redeveloped shopping centres in the case of which the investment process has ended between September 2019 and September 2020. The following aspects are evaluated: project quality, investment completion time, the commercialisation process, cutting-edge solutions and architecture, as well as the project’s impact on the environment and the economy of the region.

Investment of the Year: Office Space Market – the award is granted to new or redeveloped office buildings or office complexes in the case of which the investment process has ended between September 2019 and September 2020. The following aspects are evaluated: the quality and innovative character of a project, investment completion time, the commercialisation process, cutting-edge solutions and architecture, as well as the project’s impact on the environment and the economy of the region.

Investment of the Year: Warehouse and Logistics Space Market – the award is granted to new or redeveloped logistics and warehouse facilities in the case of which the investment process has ended between September 2019 and September 2020. The following aspects are evaluated: project quality, investment completion time, the commercialisation process, cutting-edge solutions and architecture, as well as the project’s impact on the environment and the economy of the region.

Investment of the Year: Hotel Market – the award is granted to new or redeveloped hotel facilities in the case of which the investment process has ended between September 2019 and September 2020. The following aspects are evaluated: the quality and innovative character of a project, investment completion time and architecture, as well as the project’s impact on the environment and the economy of the region.

Green Building – the award is granted to commercial facilities that have been built in accordance with the rules of environmentally friendly construction and sustainable development, thus introducing cutting-edge solutions to the market in this respect, in the case of which the investment process has ended between September 2019 and September 2020.

Architecture (award granted by the PropertyDesign.pl portal) – the award is granted to commercial facilities that introduce cutting-edge solutions to the market within the scope of architecture and design, thus setting new trends in this respect, and have been built with due respect for their surroundings and the urban fabric, and in the case of which the investment process has ended between September 2019 and September 2020.

Adviser of the Year – the award is granted to advisory agencies that operate in the commercial property market in Poland. We will award the agencies’ activity in the sector (in the period from September 2019 to September 2020), particularly within the scope of commercial space rental, property sale and investment transaction handling, as well as the agencies’ contribution to the development of the industry, the innovative character of their services, and consistency in the implementation of their strategies.

Commercial Space – (award granted by the PropertyDesign.pl portal) – we will award commercial (office, retail, service, hotel and restaurant/catering) space for: good design,·innovative architectural and design solutions, original and functional furnishings, and modern technologies. We will take into consideration the interiors in which the comfort of employees and clients/customers comes first. The award will go to designs in the case of which the investment process has ended between September 2019 and September 2020.

Co-working of the Year – we will award co-working space for an interesting range of products/services that stand out on the market, innovative solutions and services provided to users, original interior design and work environment atmosphere, and development and scale of activity.

Law Firm of the Year – the award is granted to law firms specialising in providing services to entities operating in the commercial property market in Poland. We will award law firms whose teams implement the highest standards of providing legal services in the commercial property market due to their knowledge and attitude, and who make an outstanding contribution to the legal practice.

Selecting the winners:

Each Member of the Forum of Experts sends to nagrody@propertynews.pl 5 nominations in each category, with a short description justifying their choice.

On the basis of the sent propositions the Editorial Staff creates a list of TOP 5 in each category.

The experts will vote for the nominees in particular categories until August 24th, 2020. Votes will be sent via e-mail. All experts will receive a complete list of the nominees. The experts send to an indicated address only those propositions which, in their opinion, deserve to be awarded in a given category.

At the same time the voting by Visitors of the Propertynews.pl and Propertydesig.pl websites takes place, remaining open until August 31st, 2020.

The winner in each category will be selected after the votes cast by the Experts and Viewers have been counted. The result is the sum of votes (points) cast by Viewers of the propertynews.pl and Propertydesign.pl websites as well as Members of the Expert Forum. Votes are converted into points. Each vote of an expert is worth 10 points, while each vote (click) of a viewer is worth 1 point. The winner will be informed of the result in the beginning of September 2020.

Final of Prime Property Prize 2020:

The statuettes will be awarded during a formal Property Forum 2020 Gala on September 14th, 2020.
