A passionate and dedicated hotelier, Angela Saliba – a General Manager at Sheraton Grand Warsaw, brings 27 years of industry experience. Angela commenced her hospitality career in Malta where she was engaged in various Rooms Division roles until joining the pre-opening team of the Westin Dragonara Resort, the first Westin to open outside of the US in 1997. During her tenure at the Westin in Malta, Angela held a number of roles including Executive Housekeeper and was later promoted to Director of Six Sigma. During this time, Angela was also a Board Member for Malta’s Tourism Authority. Thereafter in June 2007, Angela was promoted to lead the Le Meridien St. Julians Hotel & Spa, Malta’s premier Spa Hotel, joining the hotel within the first year of opening. In 2011, she was appointed Complex Hotel Manager for the acclaimed luxury resort of Costa Navarino in Greece, comprising The Westin Costa Navarino and The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort.

Since October 2013, Angela has been leading the Sheraton Krakow in Poland, Krakow’s leading and most recognized hotel. In 2016 the hotel became the first Sheraton hotel in Poland to be designated Sheraton Grand status, becoming Sheraton Grand Krakow, reflecting the renovated product, excellent location and outstanding service. Between 2014 and 2016 Angela was a member of the Sheraton GM Advisory Board for Europe, Africa & Middle East. During Marriott’s GM conference in April 2017, Angela was recognized as GM of the Year, Core Brands for the Europe Continent.

Angela’s drive and commitment together with her passion for people will serve her well as she joins the Sheraton Grand Warsaw during its pivotal time as it completes an extensive renovation of the public areas. Her vast industry knowledge serves the team and property well as she re-positions the hotel as Warsaw’s gathering place.
Angela is delighted to continue her career in Poland. She finds herself happy to continue her adventure in the country that she is already familiar with and where she feels like home.
